"Jagvar" (Jagvar)

I've run a lot of 5K's but never one quite like this. They had us running through a haunted forest full of "zombies" (i.e., costumed volunteers). Each runner started the race with three flags on their belt. Anyone who lost all three of their flags to the zombies was labeled "undead." The zombies got me in the end, as well as all of my friends. But it was a massively fun time.
The mud obstacles and hay-bale climbs were followed by water obstacles, so none of us was terribly muddy by the end of it. But I did manage to get run over by a big musclebound dude who wasn't watching where he was going. I got two scraped knees out of it, but in the end, it was worth the minor blood loss. I had a blast.

Nice! When you become undead do you get to grab other peoples' flags?
I did an obstacle 5k myself last week, called Rugged Maniac. It had a fairly ridiculous 28 obstacles, some of which were seriously tough. I've got cuts and scrapes all over my arms and legs, but absolutely zero regrets and I'm definitely doing it again next year. Like this crazy bastard I ran it twice, though unlike him I took a breather between runs.

Even virtual Jagvar can't into shoes

Not until December. Lake Superior Performance Rally is in two weeks, Rally of the Tall Pines in Ontario (great event) is the last weekend in November, and there's a regional rally in Missouri December 6. Then the 2015 season kicks off with Sno*Drift the last weekend in January and Perce Neige the first weekend in February.

They don't have any to rent. The two Fiestas they built were commissioned builds for the Concha brothers, who own the cars. There is, however, Kitty Smiles.

Yeah, I've co-driven a few events for them. No prices because price varies depending on event (tow mileage, race distance, entry cost, etc).

I did one of these and came away disappointed in the number of zombies there were. It felt more like a 5K with a few things to clamber over with the occasional patch of zombies. It was fun, but not really a Zombie Mud Run... more like a Mud Run (with a few zombies sometimes). Their trail markings also left a bit to be desired.
I have a backpack rig for my camera, so I was even targeted by the few zombies that were there, and came away with only one lost flag. I promise guys, it's just a scratch, I don't feel like eating anyone...
I'm assuming that, because you were eaten there were more zombies, but did you feel like yours had a better undead-to-living ratio?

Definitely. There were zombies all over the place.
